Barrett Horse Transport is based in the North West of England. We operate with a 3.5 tonne Vauxhall Movano two horse lorry which provides the maximum internal space in a small lorry, enabling us to keep our prices low and giving greater accessibility to small or awkward yards. Driver and handler David Barrett has 20 years experience travelling horses all over the country. He has a quiet and patient way with horses that gives excellent results, even with difficult loaders.

Our aim is to provide stress free transport for both horse and owner.

Barrett Horse Transport is DEFRA licensed and fully insured to transport horses for hire and reward.

To minimise the time your horse spends in transit we provide an individual service. This reduces the stress of travelling for your horse, unlike some other companies who operate with large HGV Lorries and have multiple pick ups and drop offs, meaning that your horse is on board for a long time. We don’t do shared loads without prior agreement.
